Happy Nursing Week! Take a 360-degree tour of where we train nurses at the Barrie Campus
May 06, 2019

Happy Nursing Week to all of our nursing graduates, students and faculty! We have thousands of nursing alumni, with the very first graduating class of our Nursing Assistant program dating back to 1974.

Georgian nurses are well-known in our campus communities – and beyond – for their abilities, compassion, and leadership in interprofessional health care teams.

Nursing students have two programs to choose from: the Practical Nursing diploma program, or the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Collaborative degree program in partnership with York University.

This video offers a 360-degree tour of one of our state-of-the-art nursing labs in the Sadlon Centre for Health, Wellness and Sciences at the Barrie Campus. Professor Len Lefaive narrates the tour and tells us about the kinds of simulations students encounter as part of their studies.

If using a computer, click and drag your mouse within the video box to move around the lab. If watching from a phone, use the YouTube app to enable the 360-degree function.

Learn more about the simulations by visiting our student experience page.
