Get holiday ready at the Barrie Campus
November 24, 2019

The holidays are only a few weeks away! It’s time to relax and take care of yourself so you’re rejuvenated for the busy season. Did you know that Georgian’s health and wellness clinics can help you look and feel great before you tackle the onslaught of festive get-togethers? You’ll save money and help students gain valuable work experience.

Thanks to the diverse range of programs at Georgian, there are plenty of other opportunities to treat yourself, too, like delicious cuisine at the Georgian Dining Room as well as shopping at the Jewellery and Metals program Christmas Sale.

1. Get your hair done

The Georgian Hair Studio, home to Georgian’s Hairstyling diploma and apprenticeship students, offers cuts ($15), colour (starting at $40) and much more. The last few appointments of the holiday season are Nov. 26 and Dec. 3, so book soon! Call 705.728.1968, ext. 1802 or email hairstudio@georgiancollege.ca.

For $30 (or $20 if you’re a student) you can get a one-hour assessment and treatment at the Student Massage Therapy Clinic. You can book an appointment with one of our Massage Therapy students on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday evenings and Fridays until Dec. 13. To book, call 705.722.1532 or email massageclinic@georgiancollege.ca.

Did you know that the spa and massage clinic also offer gift cards? If you’re looking to give someone a great experience, pick one up while you’re on campus.
