The grand opening takes place between 7 and 9 p.m. and continues Wednesday, Aug. 10 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Students will be on hand to discuss their work, some of which will be for sale. Door prizes and giveaways will also be offered.

“It’s an exciting time of year,” says Prof. Lynn MacKinlay. “The students have come so far and are about to graduate and enter the industry. Their pieces are beautiful and we want to share them with everyone.”

This is just one of many opportunities Cabinetmaking students have throughout the year to develop and showcase their skills, she adds.
