The Financial Aid and Awards Office presents Thrifty Thursdays, a series of workshops to help you stay on track financially.
Our first workshop, Budgeting basics: how to manage money during school, welcomes Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Jamie Madigan to Georgian College. Jamie uses his decades of financial industry experience to help people achieve their goals and dreams. During this workshop, you will learn:
- how to create your budget
- apps to help you stick to the budget
- tips to cut unnecessary costs
- what to do if your budget is not working
- what to do with the money that you’re saving
