The afternoon saw many go up the Climbing Wall while others took part in the Campus Rec Funskillz Challenge in the gym. Competitors’ tried the four stations which used their skills in volleyball, badminton, soccer and floorball to earn points.

Those looking for an even greater challenge took part in the Grizzly Dash, a large obstacle course in the gym which pushes your will and determination.

In the evening many participated in the Varsity scrimmages for both men’s and women’s volleyball and basketball.

The day was capped off with our Rez Challenge. Both residences competed head to head for supremacy in a number of events including dodgeball and “blind” volleyball.

By the end of the day nearly 1500 people came through and participated in Georgian Athletics and received their Grizzly Way T-Shirt.

If you did not receive a Grizzly Way T-Shirt there will be select events where you can receive one, starting Saturday, September 21st at the Grizzlies Men’s Rugby Varsity home opener. All in attendance at the game at the Barrie Sports Complex can pick up their shirts while supplies last.
