Explore the different types of abroad opportunities and find the experience that’s right for you. Choose from an online or in-person program. Funding may be available. Review available opportunities and apply today!

Types of abroad programs

To help you navigate to the abroad program right for you, we have outlined the different abroad opportunities:

Don’t miss an opportunity to spend one semester abroad on an exchange program at one of our partner schools across the world! Participating in an exchange program helps you to become competitive in your future career, enhance global competency skills and, of course, get international life, study and work* experience (*if applicable).

Academic credits received abroad will be transferred back to Georgian upon successful completion of the program.

To qualify for the exchange, you need to:

  • maintain full-time status with Georgian
  • be in good academic standing at Georgian
  • be eligible for international travels, if you choose an in-person experience
  • complete the learning agreement

Funding may be available!

ELAP scholarships provide students from postsecondary institutions located in Latin America and the Caribbean with short-term exchange opportunities for study or research in Canadian postsecondary institutions, at the college, undergraduate and graduate levels.
