Types of abroad programs

To help you navigate to the abroad program right for you, we have outlined the different abroad opportunities:

Outbound mobility

Georgian students going abroad to study at a partner institution or gain international work experience

Inbound mobility

Students studying at another institution abroad coming to study at Georgian

Vocational programs

Individuals outside of Canada aged 16 or older coming to Georgian for a vocational program

Staff and faculty mobility

Georgian faculty or employees going abroad to teach or work abroad at another institution

Outbound student exchange

Georgian students studying at a partner institution

Don’t miss an opportunity to spend one semester abroad on an exchange program at one of our partner schools across the world! Participating in an exchange program helps you to become competitive in your future career, enhance global competency skills and, of course, get international life, study and work* experience (*if applicable).

Academic credits received abroad will be transferred back to Georgian upon successful completion of the program.

To qualify for the exchange, you need to:

  • maintain full-time status with Georgian
  • be in good academic standing at Georgian
  • be eligible for international travels, if you choose an in-person experience
  • complete the learning agreement

Funding may be available!

Domestic students may be eligible for mobility funding. For more information, please email erasmus@georgiancollege.ca.
