Select transfer options available for Georgian College

Continental Institute for International Studies (CIIS) has a long relationship with Georgian College. CIIS, in partnership with Georgian College, offers Indian students a unique option to transfer to Georgian College after one year of study at CIIS. Currently, there are seven CIIS certificate programs that give students an opportunity to apply directly for semester three in the following programs at Georgian College:

  • CIIS Mechanical Engineering Certificate
  • CIIS Mechanical Technician Certificate
  • CIIS Automotive Business Certificate
  • CIIS Aviation Business Certificate
  • CIIS Interactive Media Design Certificate – Web
  • CIIS Business Fundamentals Certificate
  • CIIS Hospitality Administration Certificate

If students meet the eligibility requirements specified and are able to obtain a study permit as required and specified by Citizenship and Immigration Canada at the time of application, they can transfer to semester three of the following Georgian programs:

Transfer is strictly conditional on students meeting Georgian College eligibility requirements and is not automatically guaranteed by taking admission in the CIIS certificate programs. In the event the number of eligible students exceeds the maximum capacity of transfer students specified, transfer offers will be given on the basis of merit.

CIIS’s main campus is located on the NH-1 (GT Road) in Fatehgarh Sahib, approximately 35 kilometres from Chandigarh, and also offers students residential facilities. For more information about CIIS programs, please visit Continental Institute for International Studies, or contact:
