More students than ever starting school in January
January 09, 2013

Winter has become an increasingly popular time to start classes at Georgian College. This semester, more than 1,200 new students (including 124 international students) will navigate their way across Georgian campuses.

More than 60 Georgian programs offer a winter start date, giving students even greater opportunities in post-secondary education. This year’s January enrolment grew almost 11 per cent over last January. Many are mature students who have been out of school for a year or more. Georgian currently has almost 11,000 students studying at its seven campuses. This comes on top of an ever-increasing student population over the past decade: 83 per cent enrolment growth from 2002 to 2012.
