Biography

With a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Interior Design, Tamara Nyysola began her career with Heather Sarna & Associates in 2006 and went on to bring interior expertise to Anthony Allan and Republish Architecture.

Along with business partner Kelli Johnson, Tamara is currently a partner of Studio One Eleven, a boutique interior design firm in Winnipeg, MB. Tamara also enjoys instructing in the field of interior design at the University of Manitoba and Georgian College.

Tamara believes great interiors are livable. They are comfortable, not austere. They are edited, but not cold. They are thoughtfully appointed, but not intimidating.

She is passionate about human-centred design solutions rooted in a solid concept. Tamara is a driven professional with a breadth of design experience, yet brings a calm, down-to-earth vibe to Studio One Eleven and the institutions she teaches at.

My favourite aspect of the interior design profession is that every day is different. One day you are meeting with clients, the next working on the design concept, working on drawings, budgets, and attending site meetings.
