Nurse Practitioner-led Clinic

The Georgian College Nurse Practitioner-led Clinic is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The clinic offers all the services you may expect from a family practice.

About the clinic

If you have a valid Ontario Health Card and do not have a health care provider in the area, you may apply to become a patient. Appointments are necessary. Urgent appointments may be available.

Each patient will have a nurse practitioner as his/her primary health care provider. Nurse practitioners are registered nurses with additional education and authority to diagnose illness/injury, order medical tests, treat a variety of illnesses, prescribe medications, and monitor chronic medical conditions.
