This program is for people who are new to or currently working in the condominium management field, a growth industry throughout Ontario.
Participants learn how to effectively deal with people, buildings and record keeping. Theory and practical problems are incorporated into all courses, providing opportunities for learners to develop their knowledge, skills and abilities in managing effective condominiums. Faculty are drawn from senior industry members (RCMs) and other experienced industry professionals.
Completion of the four required courses is a prerequisite to writing the Registered Condominium Manager (RCM) examination set by the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario.

It is strongly recommended that students have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
If you have started at least one of the four ACMO courses prior to Nov. 1, 2021 AND HAVE APPLIED for your limited licence prior to Nov. 1, 2021, you can finish the remaining ACMO courses prior to Oct. 31, 2022 and you will be deemed to have met the new education requirement for licensing.
If you have started at least one ACMO course prior to Nov. 1, 2021 BUT HAVE NOT APPLIED for your limited licence prior to Nov. 1, 2021, you can finish the remaining ACMO courses prior to Oct. 31, 2022, but you will also be required to take the first new CMRAO course as a condition of applying for the licence after the Nov. 1, 2021 deadline. By taking this one additional CMRAO course as well as the four ACMO courses, you will be deemed to have met the new education requirement for licensing.
If you have not started at least one of the four ACMO courses prior to Nov. 1, you will be required to start the new six-course program with the CMRAO.

This program is recognized by the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario as a prerequisite to writing the Registered Condominium Manager (RCM) examination.
Effective Nov. 1, 2017, as per the Condominium Management Services Act, all condominium managers and providers of condominium management services in Ontario are required to be licensed. At the same time, the Minister of Government and Consumer Services designated the courses developed by the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) as the educational requirement necessary to qualify for a General Licence.
Students enrolled in the ACMO courses must achieve a minimum grade of 60 per cent and pass the final exam in each course. Completion of the four courses is a prerequisite to write the Registered Condominium Manager (RCM) examination.
