Arts Culture and Heritage
Arts, culture and heritage play a vital role in fostering vibrant communities and enhancing quality of life. Students explore art, culture and heritage programs and services and their relationship to recreation and leisure. Emphasis is placed on the importance of collaborative and inter-professional practice, as well as individual, group and community initiatives, participation, responsibility and accountability. The scope and diversity of multicultural programs and events in relation to arts, culture and heritage is examined.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
