Student’s art displayed at juried exhibition

Sara stands next to one of her large drawings at the Artist ProjectMuseum and Gallery Studies student, Sara Shields, recently had some of her art displayed at the Better Living Centre in Toronto as part of a large, juried exhibition called The Artist Project. The project showcased more than 200 artists from around the province.

Sara’s work is now on display at the Toronto Centre for the Arts as part of a show called Rockets, featuring the work of emerging artists.

Sara and a group of fellow Georgian students from the Museum and Gallery studies program will be hosting an opening reception for an exhibition of selected works by artist/faculty member Ted Fullerton. The opening takes place in the Sadlon Centre for Health, Wellness and Sciences on Thursday, April 10, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
