Angelica Argyropoulos and Vivienne Zhong presented recent class research at the Simcoe County Alliance to End Homelessness Spring Forum on May 21 in Midhurst. They joined Lucy Gowers from the Housing Resource Centre (offices in Orillia and Collingwood).

In their Qualitative Research course, RAP students worked in groups to conduct interviews with community leaders active in affordable housing and homeless issues. The students then analyzed the data and developed posters illustrating their findings and providing recommendations to the client.

Their research is helping to inform and develop the Housing Resource Centre’s awareness and engagement campaign on homelessness as part of a Trillium Foundation funded project.
