Stress Buster Day was a huge success and kicked off with the First Year Experience team handing out free breakfast cereal to more than 250 students. St. John Ambulance therapy dogs wandered the campus, greeted with enthusiasm by all. Students participated in numerous activities in the library, played drop-in dodge ball, and received some great study and exam tips from Peer Services.

The Students’ Administrative Council (SAC) handed out free popcorn and lollipops throughout the day, and even Growler, Georgian’s much-loved mascot, made an appearance.

Students also had the chance to win some great “stress busting” prizes, including a 30-minute massage and therapeutic pillow.

The event was organized by Georgian’s First Year Experience team, in partnership with the Fitness Centre, library, SAC and Peer Services.

Everyone on campus is looking forward to the next Stress Buster Day.
