Let’s Talk Georgian focuses on mental health Jan. 28
January 23, 2015

Wednesday, Jan. 28 is Bell Let’s Talk Day, and Georgian College has created its own related event, “Let’s Talk Georgian” to focus on mental health.

Georgian student Stephanie Good will begin the conversation about her own journey as a student living with mental health issues. Come hear Stephanie speak at 12:15 p.m. in Room K326, Barrie Campus and be part of Let’s Talk Day.

Please remember that Counselling Services are available for all students who want to talk privately.

Two other helpful resources for Georgian students are the Good to Talk helpline for postsecondary students and the MyWellness pages

As part of its annual event to highlight concerns and solutions around mental health, Bell will donate five cents to mental health initiatives for each of the following made on Jan. 28:

  • Text message sent on its networks
  • Mobile and long distance call made on its networks
  • Tweet using #BellLetsTalk
  • Facebook image share
