Jingbo Wang was one of many English for Academic Purposes students participating in the Human Library project at the Barrie Campus.

International students and faculty hosted a “Human Library” today at the Barrie Campus.

Guests were invited to come “check out” some of Georgian’s finest resources and listen to intriguing stories from students offering insight into their experiences in Canada as well as their beliefs, aspirations, challenges and passions.

There were more than 50 books to choose from – each with a unique and inspiring story.

Book titles included:

  • Don’t Think. Feel.
  • Be a Fashionista
  • It’s Me: Ten Years Before and After
  • My Dream Job
  • 21.1 km
  • Five Memorable Lessons from Five Teachers
  • A Chinese Student in Canada
  • Attitude is Everything
  • Roller Coasters

The Human Library was a great two-way learning experience in which human readers and human books had a chance to interact.
