Homestay program helps international students adjust to life in Canada

This fall, Georgian College will welcome hundreds of new international students to its campuses, and households in the Barrie area are being offered the chance to gain culturally and financially by offering room and board options for students through the Homestay program.

Families accepted into the program can earn up to $750 per month, depending on the living situation. A male and female international student play a board game in the living room of a home they are staying at through the Georgian Homestay program.
