Company hires students on the spot for Pan Am security
October 07, 2014

Georgian students had the opportunity to apply and interview for employment at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am and Parapan American Games thanks to a partnership with Contemporary Security Canada.
Contemporary Security Canada was awarded the contract to provide private security services for the games. The recruitment team was at the Orillia Campus on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 processing applications. They anticipated hiring approximately 50 students and by the end of the recruitment drive, they hired 142 students in Georgian’s community and safety programs to act as security personnel.

There is still time to apply for those who missed the interviews and want to be part of the event. Visit www.securethegames.com.
