Access to Higher Education panel offers discussions for First Nations/Inuit/Métis, international and first generation students

Register in advance for a unique panel discussion on Oct. 4 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall concerning access to higher education for First Nations/Inuit/Métis students, international students and First Generation students.

Georgian College President and CEO MaryLynn West-Moynes will present, along with:

  • Dr. Mike DeGagne, President of Nipissing University
  • Dr. Dale-Elizabeth Pehrsson, Dean of College of Education and Human Services at Central Michigan University (CMU), and
  • Dr. Bill Summers, Vice-President, Research and Policy, Colleges Ontario

The event is being hosted by Georgian in collaboration with CMU and Ontario GradNet.

CMU will also hold two information sessions that day at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for those interested in the fall 2014 cohort of the CMU Master of Arts in Education (Community College Concentration). Room TBA.
