Students raised $2,150, which allowed for the purchase of two new life-size puppets for the FAN program and a cash donation to support future presentations of FAN throughout Grey Bruce.
It was a busy semester for second year Early Childhood Education students at the Owen Sound Campus. As part of their Ethics and Advocacy class project, students were tasked with raising the profile of Early Childhood educators and awareness of the Friends and Neighbours (FAN) Club, housed at the local Canadian Mental Health office.
Various initiatives were executed on campus and at the local Boston Pizza in support of these groups.
A job well done and a great example of community service learning at Georgian!
