Barrie Campus parking lot construction continues

Drivers at the Barrie Campus are advised to keep their eyes sharp and follow detour signs on Monday, June 4 as work continues on parking lot and road improvements. Whenever possible, please use the Cook Street entrance to avoid delays.

Weather permitting, Lot 2 (south side of B/Founders Building) will be closed due to road construction. A portion of Grizzlies Way between the Bell Farm Road/Duckworth entrance and the eastern end of Founders Building will also be closed. Lot 1, in front of Founders Building, is already closed.

Motorists will be able to use the Bell Farm Road/Duckworth Street entrance, but traffic will be re-routed onto President’s Drive for travel through the campus. Please refer to the attached site plan indicating detour routes, and watch for detour signs on campus.

For easiest access to and from the Barrie Campus grounds, Physical Resources highly recommends using the Cook Street entrance whenever possible. It will be accessible all day, every day.

As always, thank you for your patience and co-operation as Physical Resources continues to improve and maintain roadways and parking lots.

Read Staff News for ongoing construction and detour bulletins throughout the summer.

Physical Resources can be reached at ext. 5215.
