The Graphic Design program at Georgian College celebrates the success of this year’s graduating class with its inaugural Grad Show 2012.

The four-day event is hosted at the Georgian Dining Room (E Building, Room E100) at the Barrie Campus. The show features the exceptional work of graduates and also provides an opportunity for potential employers, locally and regionally, to see that work and meet the grads.

An exclusive reception will be held on Wednesday, April 18 to provide an opportunity for our new grads to show off their work, network with industry professionals, and make connections with others working in their field; many of whom are alumni of the program.

The three-year Georgian Graphic Design program has one of the highest rates of student satisfaction and graduate placement in the province, and includes a field placement component in its final semester. The program’s reputation for producing quality grads has long been known as its own best-kept secret.

The Graphic Design Grad Show 2012 can be viewed over lunch from Monday, April 16 to Thursday, April 19 from 12 to 2 p.m. (call 705-722-5142 for reservations).

The show is open for public viewing on Monday, April 16 from 2 to 4 p.m., and Tuesday, April 17 from 3 to 6 p.m.
