Barrie library stays open late March 12 to help procrastinating students

A teacher and three students look over an assignment at a desk. Georgian College’s Barrie Campus library is staying open until 2 a.m. Thursday, March 12, as staff and students take part in Late Night Against Procrastination.

The event is designed to help procrastinating students find ways to work more efficiently by using healthy snacks, regular breaks and writing support. Academic Success staff will also help students build strategies to avoid procrastination in the future.

The Barrie Campus event begins at 7 p.m. All library and Academic Success services will be open until 2 a.m. Students can get help with research, writing, math and more. Hourly prizes, workshops and refreshments will help make studying easier all evening long.
