Georgian student wants to make a difference

Team-building and active lifestyles are important in any child’s life, but especially in a developing country such as Peru.

Lyndsey Armstrong, a 22-year-old marketing student at Georgian College in Barrie, wants to make a difference, so she has organized a volleyball tournament.

“I had always wanted to do a volunteer project, and when I saw that through Projects Abroad I could promote an active lifestyle and team building through one of my passions, sports, I couldn’t resist,” she said.
