Communicative Disorders students raise funds for AboutFace

A group of students in evening wear pose in the Georgian Dining Room.Communicative Disorders Assistant students hosted a gala dinner and silent auction recently for AboutFace, a national charity that provides support to individuals living with a facial difference.

Earlier this year, they also hosted a successful fundraising event at Boston Pizza.

Faculty are proud to share the fact that the students surpassed their overall goal, raising $5,695.

The funds will allow youth aged 10 to 18 to attend Camp Trailblazers – a retreat that provides psychosocial support and an experience of a lifetime.
