Barrie, ON – The Humber Hawks continued their assault on their opponents in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) men’s rugby league with a 116-0 win over the Georgian Grizzlies this afternoon at the Barrie Community Sports Complex.
The Hawks scored early and often, as Edward Donnelly returned the opening kickoff 65 yards for Humber’s first try.
A few minutes later, Eric Garnham scored his first of three tries on the day, and the rout was on. Humber led 73-0 at the half.
The Hawks have topped the century mark in all four of their league games this season.
The loss was Georgian’s first of the year. The Grizzlies will try and bounce back in their next game at Mohawk on October 13.
