February 2nd, 2013 – The Georgian Grizzlies men’s and women’s indoor soccer teams continue to build on their early season experience after competing in the Redeemer Royal Cup this past weekend.

Next up for the women were the eventual tournament champions the Seneca Sting. The Grizzlies battled hard but fell in a close match 1-0.

Earning a spot in the quarter-finals the women found their offence winning a great game 2-1 over the Conestoga Condors which set up a rematch against the Seneca Sting.

The Grizzlies ran out of gas in the semis against the tough Sting falling 3-0 but was a great effort early in the season for the group.

The men’s team had a difficult time at the tournament failing to score in their three games and were unable to advance to the medal round.

The men’s and women’s indoor soccer teams will next be in action when they compete this Saturday at the George Brown Invitational tournament.
