Industry Partnership Projects
Industry supporters and donors
Honda and Toyota, among others, have donated funds and gifts-in-kind toward the evolution of the program, and many automobile manufacturers and automotive parts manufacturers companies also support student scholarships. Most recently, KUKA Robotics Canada contributed four leading-edge robots to the College, resulting in a first-rate learning experience for students in what is now called the KUKA Robotics Lab. What is unique and special about this partnership is KUKA’s commitment to continuously provide Georgian with the latest robot products to ensure students are always learning on the most up to date technology.
This program has three paid co-op terms. Providing Georgian with co-op placements is a significant commitment from industry and another excellent example of the incredible support they provide to help our students.
Finally, the program is closely affiliated with our Center for Automotive Parts Expertise (CAPE). CAPE has historically been a major source of support for the program.
