Welcome to the Orillia Campus

The Orillia Campus offers full-time programs, part-time studies, academic upgrading, and a wide variety of continuing education programs. It also has a state-of the-art fitness centre and gymnasium, on-campus pub and restaurant, Library Commons and 150-seat lecture theatre. Georgian is working with the private sector to build a student residence, which will be ready by fall 2013.

Campus Connections

Our helpful Campus Connection staff are eager to chat with you about our programs and answer your questions. They can set up group and individual tours of the campus, arrange meetings with program faculty, and link you with other areas of the College, such as the Centre for Access, the Career Development Centre and the Office of the Registrar. Don’t be shy – they are here to help you. As the information and customer service hub, Campus Connections is located in the foyer.

This on-site centre offers resources, information, workshops and assessments to help community members, students and grads with career planning and job search. Fees for service may apply.

Proctor services

If you are taking a course at another Educational Institution or training through your employer, and require invigilation of the test or exam, Georgian College Testing Services can assist you.

Please provide Testing Services with:

  • your name
  • your phone number with area code
  • e-mail address
  • contact name, phone number, e-mail and name of educational institution for whom  you will be writing
  • let Testing Services know if you are a current Georgian College student or staff member

Test accommodation fee for proctoring services

NO FEE for current Georgian College student or staff member.

If you are not a current Georgian College student or staff member, the fee for testing is:

$50.00 + tax for up to 2 hours of testing

$75.00 + tax for more than 2 hours of testing

Printing services

The Students’ Administrative Council is pleased to sponsor the Printing Service. Be sure to drop in with just about anything that you may need to have typed, printed or faxed. The Printing Service is centrally located within the Library Commons on the main floor. Print credits are also purchased here for all your printing needs.

The Den

The Den is a fully licensed student pub and an ideal spot for student and staff before and after class to socialize, eat, meet for a drink and play pool. We can also provide top notch catering and private function service on location at The Den or anywhere you require on campus.

Come and check out our new 2012 menu and daily specials.

Numerous pub nights are scheduled for the 2012/2013 school year, so don’t miss out on the fun. All revenue from The Den goes directly back into Orillia campus student life.

While recognizing the cultural, educational, recreational, and charitable needs of the community it serves, the College may rent facilities and equipment, if available, at a reasonable cost, to those community groups who find the facilities suitable.
