Between May and August, Georgian College offers affordable one-, two- and three-bedroom hotel-style accommodation at the Barrie Campus.
- Comfortable, non-smoking, air-conditioned suites with three-piece bath and kitchenette

The front desk is open 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week, May through August.

Summer Accommodation

- One- and two- bedroom suites: $69 per night
- Three- bedroom suites: $89 per night
- Extended stay rates: $55 per night (minimum 5 consecutive nights, limited housekeeping, two bedroom suites only)

Stay’n Play packages

Lounges
- Summer Accommodations – Front Lobby
All eight floors of the summer accommodations have a large lounge area with four couches and a TV. This area will be a gathering area for the floor’s guests. They may also be used as a breakout room for conferences and in-house groups. To arrange the use of the lounge, please contact Conference Services.
Cooking Facilities
Each suite contains:
- Kitchenette with full-size refrigerator
- Microwave/convection oven
- Cupboard and counter space with sink
- Table and chairs
Note: Two stoves with ovens available in another cooking area on first floor (open to all guests)
Laundry
- Summer Accommodations – Self-Serve Laundry Facilities
Coin-operated laundry facilities are available on the first floor near the lounge. Regular washers and dryers cost $1.50 per load, front-loading washers are $2 per load.
Newspapers
complimentary copies of the Barrie Examiner are available at Front Desk.
Sports Facilities
A multi-purpose sports court and two sand volleyball courts are behind the hotel. Volleyballs and basketballs are available at the Front Desk for guests to sign out.
Smoking
Georgian College promotes a healthy environment. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. There is a no smoking policy in all guest rooms. A refurbishing charge of $150 will be applied for any infractions of this policy.
Pets
Summer accommodations is a pet-free property. Refurbishing fees will apply for any infractions of this policy.

Georgian college wants your dining experience to be the best it can be. we invite you to sit down with us over a cup of coffee and let us help you design a package that will ensure your guests are nothing short of pleased.
Choose from Chartwells (Georgian’s contracted food service), the Georgian Dining Room, The First Class or The Last Class for your dining or catering needs. These facilites can accommodate coffee breaks and banquet dinners for groups of up to 1,500.
Conference and Event Services strives to provide excellent service and quality, at the best price.

Tim Hortons hours of operation
- Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tim Hortons is located at the Barrie Campus on the second floor of the C Building and the first floor of M Building. Both are full-service locations.
The First Class (coffee shop/bistro)
The First Class Café is a stylish café bistro located above the Last Class. The First Class offers a wonderful array of flavoured coffee and signature sandwiches. Enjoy breakfast and lunch, or simply relax with a beverage.

The Last Class (pub and grill) hours of operation
- Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Last Class features a summer menu and new look and vibe! The Las Class is a gathering place for students and staff. Private functions can be arranged.
Georgian Dining Room
- Monday to Friday, noon to 1:30 p.m.
Whatever your taste or pleasure, the Georgian Dining Room (GDR) and the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation are sure to satisfy. The GDR offers special bookings for corporate, private and special events. The John Molson Courtyard is also available, weather-permitting.
Athletic Centre hours of operation
- Monday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Georgian College Athletic Centre (Barrie Campus) features:
- 20,000-square-foot gym
- 10,000-square-foot fitness area

Bits and Bytes
Bits and Bytes is located on the first floor of C building (Barrie Campus) inside the Bookstore. It’s a one-stop shop for computer software, computer sales and hardware services. Staff can also custom-build a system to meet certain specifications. For more information, visit the Bits and Bytes website.

Bookstore
The bookstore is located on the first floor of C Building (Barrie Campus), sell textbooks for courses offered at Georgian College. It also sells Georgian College clothing, hats, giftware, frames for diplomas and rings. Orders are accepts via phone, fax or email. For more information, visit the bookstore website.

Grenville Copy Store
Fast and convenient full-or self-service copying is offered on campus. Located in C Building (Barrie Campus), adjacent to the cafeteria on the second floor.

Media Services is located on the first floor of C Building beside the Library. It provides equipment and expertise that make presentations sparkle. Audiovisual equipment (digital and 35mm cameras and camcorders, VCRs and multimedia projection systems) can be rented. Skilled, friendly staff answer questions and offer assistance.
