Get Connected is your chance to visit Georgian and connect with us before the start-of-semester rush. Get things done at Get Connected to avoid long lineups on the first day of classes and focus on meeting friends, faculty and staff!

Here are some of the things you can do at Get Connected: 

  • purchase your parking pass or learn about transit
  • learn about fitness options or activate your fitness centre membership
  • get a personalized tour of your classrooms
  • attend an IT session to learn how to use Banner and Blackboard technology
  • visit the Registrar’s Office for help with fees, OSAP, course registration and student cards
  • opt out of student insurance
  • connect with staff who can offer you academic support

Interested in joining the Orientation team?

Start out as one of our SWAT (Student Welcoming and Activities Team) volunteers. Under the guidance of transition leaders, you will help out with such events as Get Connected, Orientation Day, Tug-of-War, Stress Free Day and many more. To volunteer please fill out a job application below.

You can then progress to a paid position as a transition leader and further develop your leadership skills and campus involvement. For more information please email orientation@georgiancollege.ca
