So … you want to be an Entrepreneur! Have we got the program for you!!
Georgian College has received formal approval from The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to offer two new programs in Entrepreneurship.
In today’s economic climate, small business in Canada account for over 98% of the total number of business firms in Canada. Since 1989, 75% of job growth has been through self-employment, and this trend is expected to continue in future years. With the long-term decline in some major industries, Canada will be turning more to innovative small businesses to create new international markets for specialized goods and services.
To assist new entrepreneurs, Georgian will launch the new graduate-level certificate program in May 2012. The new two-year, diploma program will follow with its launch in September of 2012.
