A process of renewal
The economy, employers and our communities are changing – and we are too. We’re undergoing broad, strategic renewal and decided the way we talk about ourselves should better reflect who we are and where we’re going.
We invited the entire Georgian family to examine our visual identity and presence in the community.
More than 5,100 people responded, representing:

Why branding is important
A brand is more than a logo – it’s built on what we do and the experiences we deliver. A brand should reflect an organization’s personality, strengths and hopes. We think our new brand captures our rich history and our bold vision for the future. It will contribute to our reputation, distinguish us from others, and help us deliver on our promise to students.
The best centres of learning do far more than transmit knowledge. They’re catalysts for change. Georgian is committed to being an active agent of growth for students – but also for employers, partners and communities.
In science and entrepreneurship, an “accelerator”� dramatically enhances growth and development. Our new symbol – the Georgian Accelerator – is an apt metaphor for the enriching possibilities that we help ignite.
