Building upon an ever expanding network of industry relationships, Golf Management students enjoyed one of the best co-op seasons our program has ever seen. Due to their hard work, and the support of our co-op coordinators and faculty, students worked at a wide variety of notable golf and resort properties. Below are a few comments from end-of-season student evaluations:

Re: Mike Johnston, 2nd Year Degree Student  – Turf Co-op

Angus Glen Golf Club

“Michael Johnston has worked at Angus Glen for the past summer on the South course. I had the pleasure of supervising Mike this summer and trained him in many different aspects of golf course maintenance.

Michael was very reliable and hard working. He had great enthusiasm for the job, and was always willing to learn new things. He is a golfer which gave him the eye for detail. He didn’t forget about the little things, which is hard to find these days.

It was a pleasure working with him and wouldn’t hesitate to give him the opportunity to be part of our team next year.”
