The Research Analyst Program Celebrates 18 Years Strong!

In early June, at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, ON, over 120 Research Analyst Program (RAP) alumni celebrated 18 years of this post-graduate program. The reunion was special since the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association was celebrating its 50th anniversary—with the largest national conference including 600 delegates—and invited Georgian College alumni to join in the fun!
Georgian College alumni are now working with companies such as Ipsos, Environics, Hotspex, Globescan, MillwardBrown, KPMG, Pepsico, Kraft, Telus, RBC, Parks Canada, Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario, school boards, health units and many many more. A gathering of 120 alumni in one place, with some coming from Vancouver, was quite a feat!
During the reunion, Robert Wong, RAP Program Coordinator, was given a rousing retirement farewell after dedicating 15 years to growing RAP. He was honoured with alumni supporting a new ‘Community Involvement Award’ under his name. It was quite a party!
Special thanks to the Georgian College Alumni Association for their support of the RAP Reunion. We can’t wait for the next one!
