Fees
Advanced Standing: $100
Articulation and Transfer Agreements: Based on the institution to which you will be transferring
Letter of Permission: $50 per course
Course Exemptions and Credit Transfer:
- $50 per course up to a cap of $100 per semester
- COMM 1016 no charge
Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR): $125 per course
NOTE
We encourage students to submit all exemption requests for the duration of their program at the same time.
If you are applying for PLAR and/or course exemptions for a course(s) in which you are currently enrolled, you must continue to attend classes until the exemption process has been successfully completed. Be sure to drop your course once your exemption has been processed.
Normally, credit transfer will only be granted for courses taken at accredited and recognized institutions with a grade of 60% or better, with the exception of Bachelor degrees in applied studies which require 65% or better. Course exemptions are granted on an individual basis and involve the assessment/evaluation of previous educational credentials.
