Reinforced Concrete Design

CONS 3006

Students explore the design procedures for reinforced concrete. The design elements include one and two way slabs, beams, columns, and walls. Drawing details for placement of reinforcing steel are developed. Students develop an understanding for how to interpret working concrete drawings. Analysis and design of concrete members is completed in accordance with local code requirements, including the Ontario Building Code and Canadian Concrete Design Handbook.

Post Secondary level MENG 2007 Strength of Materials Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
