Course description

In this course, students are introduced to the field of sport and exercise psychology through theory and application. Strategies and techniques that sport psychologists and mental performance consultants (MPC) employ to help athletes achieve and maintain peak performance are explored. Ultimately, students are assisted in developing a range of psychological skills that are broadly transferable to all performance tasks (e.g., sport, exercise, academic testing, career testing), helping them achieve consistent peak performance.
