Course description

Students focus on general concepts of community health nursing including community-based nursing, primary health care, and public health nursing for clients, groups and communities. Students examine the various roles, concepts and theories of community- based nursing practice.

Post Secondary level NRSG 1006 Gerontological Nursing Theory Minimum Grade of 65
or Post Secondary level NRSG 1015 Clinical Experience 2 Minimum Grade of P

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
